EcoVadis, which focuses on corporate social responsibility (CSR), evaluates more than 50,000 companies based on 21 criteria across four themes—environment, labor and human rights, business ethics, and sustainable procurement—and awarded Verescence a Gold rating. According to reports, among all industries assessed by EcoVadis in 2018, Verescence ranked in the top 1%.

Verescence’s recently published corporate social responsibility report focuses on three key pillars: people first, action for society, and ecological solutions.

According to the report...

1. Certifications obtained by the facility: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 22716 (GMP), OHSAS 18001

2.85% of purchases are local.

3. Over 80% of waste is recycled.

4,100 tons of recycled glass were sold in 2017.

2017 carbon emissions: 5–5,800 tonnes* and water usage: –29,000 cubic meters

6. A pioneer of eco-friendly bottles (Infinite Glass, 2008)

7.2 Training Center for Preserving and Developing Expertise in Glass Manufacturing
